Rare Honor of Kings Figurines

We’re unboxing something super exciting today – we just received 5 sample Honour of Kings figures. We’re going to unbox them one by one and decide if we should start selling them in our stores and online. Let’s get into it!

About Honor of Kings

Honor of Kings, also known as King of Glory, is a multiplayer online battle arena (or what we call MOBA) similar to Dota and League of Legends. It’s actually the original Chinese version of what you might know as Arena of Valor, and Honor of Kings got over 100 million daily active players back in 2020, which is insane! With all these types of games the diverse roster of heroes is its standout appeal, each of them with unique abilities and roles.

Today we’re unboxing some pretty iconic heroes so stick around to see if any of them are your mains! See the HOK main website here.

Jia Luo Honor of Kings Figure

First up we have the empress Jia Luo, the ranged hero. This particular figure is in the arrow feather breath skin, in this really charming yellow ensemble with her bow and arrow. In the game, her character is great for crowd control, increasing critical rates and ranged attacks, a much needed strategy for any worthy opponent. She’s actually most well-known in her “Tai Hua” skin, based on Mount Hua, one of China’s Five Great Mountains. It’s so beautiful and represents her long, flowing dress as the mountain’s rivers, framed beautifully with her hair and her weapon. But this time, she’s dressed in a more modern design with a black crop top and a yellow coat, and I must say she still looks very cool, just less ethereal than she normally does.

Here’s the figure and it looks great, the colors are very vibrant and she’s standing in this very cool pose as if she’s all ready to join you in your party. It comes with the bow and arrow accessories which is a cute addition to the figure, and the base is big enough for you to display her perfectly on your shelf. Definitely a must have for any Jia Luo fan as it brings a different vibe to her character.

Xiao Qiao Honor of Kings Figure

We have Xiao Qiao next, the cutest Wind sorceress ever and descendant of the famed Qiao clan. Her character is based on the story of the Two Qiaos of Jiangdong, in which Xiao Qiao is the younger one. This figure is in her classic skin, the vibrant pink dress with the gigantic fan and her signature space buns.
Her figure was actually released together with her partner, Zhou Yu, and they look really cute together. I feel like it’s best to get both of them together so that they can be next to each other forever, you know?
Some minimal setup is needed like placing her on the base and attaching her fan, but otherwise it’s pretty straightforward and it looks so good.

What do you think of this figure? The colors are so vibrant and I think they did a really great job capturing the essence of her character, even if they did kind of just copy the design of her splash art. She’s a really great choice for a main because of her damage output so if she’s your main, let me know if this is something you’d want us to sell!

Li Yuanfang Honor of Kings Figure

Next up we have the secret agent of the royal capital, Li Yuanfang, more commonly known as Fang. He is characterized by his big eyes and even bigger ears. This half ferali, half human hero has superhuman hearing and can sniff out the biggest secrets for his officer Di Renjie, which makes him a great character to have around to be able to sense hidden enemies in gameplay.

The figure has him standing on top of a roof as if poised for action or ready to strike, and his big perky ears are so cute and lend a lot to his character. It feels really well made and the small details like his ear cuffs, the touches of gold on his outfit, and his detective notebook are a really nice touch. It’s good that they didn’t simply copy the splash art like they did with Xiao Qiao, so it’s something different, but I wish that they had gone with his more interesting skins like Candy Collector or Galactic Explorer because of his more creative headgear. What do you think? Let me know if you’re good with this version or if you’d like to see him in his different skins!

Zhuang Zhou Honor of Kings Figure

Let’s have a look at Zhuang Zhou now, he’s a support hero and a powerful sorcerer in the game, and one of the three sages of Jixia. His source of power comes from his dreams – whatever he dreams would eventually come to be a reality.

This figure is in the Cloud Dream Builder skin, where through his dreams, he helped to repair a magnificent city that has been destroyed. There are some tiny details that they added to this figure, such as the shape of his lamp on the scarf and the night sky in the spirit of the fish called Kun, and both of these signify the fact that they are light sources in the design of the skin. The translucency in the spirit of Kun with its glitter inside is beautiful and looks as otherworldly as it should be.
He looks really cute sitting atop the spirit. He’s not in an action or dynamic pose by any means, but the way that the scarf, his hair, and his coat is flowing makes you believe that he’s actually in mid-flight. If you display him near a light source such as a lamp or the window, the translucent effect of the spirit of the fish would look amazing. What do you think of this Zhuang Zhou figure?

Luban Honor of Kings Figure

Next up is our final figure to share with you today and it’s the one and only Luban number 7. Don’t be fooled by his human appearance because he is actually a cute little mechanoid that was named after the scientist that created him, one of the three sages of Jixia. As the 7th iteration of his experiments, Master Luban created Luban No. 7 as a destructive machine against his nemesis and this cute little boy was a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield.

This figure shows him in his “Video Game Boy” skin, and he actually looks like another famous character of a little boy that we all know and love (Ash Ketchum), and the similarities are actually uncanny with the red and blue colour scheme, the jacket and the cap. It’s a very cool concept, but I don’t think a lot of people are aware of this particular Video Game Boy skin compared to his iconic mechanoid form or his manga crossover skin, so that is an interesting choice. Regardless, the figure is still really cute and the base actually makes it look much better, with its candy colours and the pixelated details. It’s quite big too so it will definitely stand out in your collection if you’re a Luban main!
