Madoka Kaname Nendoroid Review
WAHAHAHAHAH!!!… Hello, everyone! My name is Ryan Tumaliuan, aka. SykoeEnt, TheOtaKing (Yes, I’m that guy from that America’s Greatest Otaku contest from TokyoPOP). I’m a toy designer for a major toy company and have been in the toy industry for around 8 years. Although, I was supposed to start doing these a while ago, I was bogged down with work and had to finish a bunch of stuff so I had to postpone my debut as a figure blogger for this site… lol anyway, let’s get to why you’re reading this blog… THE FIGURES!!!
Madoka Kaname Nendoroid Review
For my first review, I will be looking at Madoka Kaname, from the popular Mahō Shōjo Madoka Magika/Puella Magi Madoka Magica/魔法少女まどか☆マギカ series, Nendoroid by the Good Smile Company.
Madoka Nendo comes with a bunch of accessories, including her magical bow and arrow, fancier hair bows, extra arms, hands and bent leg and that Kyubey… Because, this is one of the newer Nendoroid designs, she uses the new “Peg square” base with connecting arm that plugs into the back of Madoka.
That peg square base helps the Nendo pose in action poses better, as you can see here, mixed with the bent leg, bow and arrow, serious face and fancy hair bows (^_^), you are able to set the figure in a less actiony pose, much like the older generation of Nendo figures. Madoka’s “serious face” is… well… because of the rest of her proportions… cute… lol The bow and arrow fit fine in her hands, with her energy arrow… feels kind of not sturdy enough in her right hand.
